Rent a luxury villa in Le Marche – Lonely beach bays and mysterious grottos

The Marche region is located on the Adriatic coast of central Italy and lies between the areas of Emilia Romagna and Abruzzo. The name Marche arose from the term “Mark” for the border area of the Holy Roman Empire, as the many historic villages and artistic monuments are also a reminder of this. The coast shines with a mix of deep blue sea, white sandy beaches and green cliffs. Marche is divided into the provinces of Pesaro and Urbino, Macerata, Fermo and Ascoli Piceno, all of which are lined up along the 180 kilometer long coastline.

The Marche region has received numerous awards for its sustainable tourism, thanks to the active preservation of rock caves, grottoes and churches. When you rent a luxury villa in Marche, you can discover the many cycling, mountain biking, hiking and climbing routes. Only a few travellers know this beautiful area with its olive trees, vineyards and family-run trattorias (restaurants). To your advantage, the wonderful beach bays between the steep rock faces are not overcrowded.

Ancona is the capital of the Marche region and enchants with its mix of port city, seaside resort and its mysterious relics of antiquity, such as the Fontana del Calamo fountain with its 13 faces.
