Delhi – Udaipur – Devigarh – Jaipur – Agra

Rajasthan is one of the wildest and most colorful areas throughout India. Witnesses of the historical significance of Rajasthan are not only the delicate marble palaces belonging to the great wonders of the world, and the imposing desert fortresses, but also a unique and diverse landscape, bizarre mountains, artificial lakes and finally the Thar desert with its endless expanse.

Spend your honeymoon in this wonderful scenery.

Day 1: Arrival Delhi

Assistance on arrival at Delhi International airport followed by transfer to the hotel. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel. Please note that the flight is not included! Overnight at the hotel "The Imperial".

Day 2: Delhi

During breakfast tour briefing by professional guides, followed by full day city tour of Old and New Delhi. In addition to its Historic interest and role as the Government center, Delhi is a major travel gateway. It is one of India’s busiest entrance points for overseas airlines, the hub of the North Indian travel network and a stop on the overland route across Asia. Places to visit:

• Red Fort
• Raj Ghat
• Jama Masjid
• Qutab Minar
• Humayun’s Tomb
• India Gate
• Drive past the Government building lining the Jan Path

In between enjoy the rickshaw ride in Old Delhi. After visit, spend the time by shopping around.

Day 3 Delhi / Udaipur

After breakfast you will be provided in time departure transfer to the airport to connect the flight for Udaipur. Upon arrival, check in to the Kempinski hotel "The Leela Palace". Rest of the day is free to relax.

Day 4 Udaipur

After breakfast, half day city tour. Sights include:

• The Maharana’s City Palace standing on the edge of the lake Pichola
• The Sahelion ki Bari is a good example of the art of landscaping
• Exclusive boat ride on Lake Pichola and visit Jag Mandir while having boat ride in the afternoon

Day 5: Udaipur / Devigarh

After breakfast, drive to Devigarh (19 miles). On arrival, check into the hotel "Devigarh Resort".  The rest of the day is free to relax.

Day 6 Devigarh

After breakfast, the day is free to relax.

Day 7: Devigarh / Jaipur

After breakfast commence to drive to Jaipur (250 miles). After arrival, check in to the hotel "Rajvilas". The evening is free to explore the local markets of the Pink City.

Day 8: Jaipur

Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, still looks cradled and well protected. Jaipur takes its name from maharaja jai Singh, who - in the early 1700s - became the king of amber at the age of 13. He soon added architect and astronomy to his credentials. He designed the bulk of his new capital, with its exquisite buildings of rose colored terra cotta, thus giving it the name of "the pink city" with pink and orange the dominant colors, the effect is magic at dusk.

After breakfast drive to amber fort. Enjoy an elephant ride while going up the fort. In the afternoon, have a half day city tour of Jaipur. You will visit the following sites:

• City Palace
• Jantar Mantar
• Hawa Mahal

Day 9: Jaipur / Tree of Life Resort & Spa

After breakfast, drive to Tree of Life Resort & Spa (16 miles). Nestled among the undulating Aravalli hills lies your perfect getaway. Day 10: Tree of Life

After breakfast, the rest of the time you are free to relax and rediscover the magic in your life.

Day 11: Tree of life / Fathepur Sikiri / Agra

After an early breakfast, commence to drive to Agra (143 miles). En route visit Fatehpur Sikri, "the Ghost City” which lies west of Agra. From here continue your drive to Agra a further 23 miles from here. On arrival check into your hotel "Amarvilas".

Later visit the kalakriti theatre which highlights the famous play of Shah Jahan & his wife Mumtaz Mahal. An Experience of Love. The Sanskriti Natya Shala present Mohabbat - the - Taj - a series of play, depicting the saga of love. Dream immortalized.

Day 12: Agra

Agra is famous for being home to one of the Seven Wonders of the World - the Taj Mahal. Agra was once the capital of the Mughal Empire and even today it seems to linger in the past. Not surprising, for the Mughal emperors with their passion for building, endowed the city with some of the finest structures in the world. It is very easy to slip away here through the centuries into the grandeur and intrigues of the Mughal court. Early morning visit to The Monument of Love – Taj Mahal has Horse Carriage ride while going to the Taj Mahal. (Please note that Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays.) After your visit, return back to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast continue with the visits of the monuments in Agra:

• The Red Fort
• The Itmad-ul-daulah
• Sikandra

Day 13: Agra / Departure to Delhi

After a leisurely breakfast, drive back to Delhi in the afternoon (139 miles). On arrival in Delhi you will be provided in time assisted departure transfer to the international airport to connect the flight for onwards journey.

Highly recommended is a visit to the Bollywood musical in Gurgaon (close to the airport) in the evening called Zangora. The show lasts two hours and starts at 7 pm. You can have dinner before you depart to the airport.
