Villa Piper is located 4 km from Vela Luka away, on the western side of the island of Korcula. Korcula is considered the pearl of southern Dalmatia and awaits visitors with its picturesque old town, magnificent coastal panoramas, fabulous fishing villages and idyllic bays. With a length of 32 km is the sixth largest island in Croatia. This island is known for its dense forest and the ancient Greeks called the island of Black Korcula (Kerkyra Melaina). Away from the tourist resorts on the coast of the island of Korcula, in the interior of the island, you will discover a unique green landscape with panoramic views and hidden cultural treasures that can be discovered either on foot or by bicycle. The coast is divided by picturesque bays and is worth discovering by boat.
The main places are the town of Korcula (people call it "Little Dubrovnik" because of its medieval squares, churches, palaces and houses), Vela Luka and Lumbarda. There are also smaller towns and villages on the island for those looking for a quieter holiday. Korcula is the great newcomer of the island world of Dalmatia.
