Villa Mira in Le Lavandou

This charming villa sitting on a 3 acre peninsula enjoys an extremely privileged position surrounded by the sea and offers quietness and exceptional views over the clear blue water to the Porquerolles and Port Cros islands.There is a magnificent seaside garden, wooded with maritime pines and a teak terrace situated on the point of the property to take full advantage of the panoramic views.

It is a villa steeped in history where numerous celebrities from the 50s, 60s and 70s have stayed. Although completely renovated, it retains its character and its authenticity, while at the same time enjoying top-of-the-range comfort. The extensive grounds afford a great deal of privacy, unusual for the region, with hammocks, shaded areas and several seating areas, guests will find it hard to leave the villa. The friendly housekeeping team are on hand to ensure that your stay passes blissfully. 

All of the bedrooms have a view of the sea, seven of the eight bedrooms have their own bathroom and the bedrooms are divided between the ground floor and the 2nd floor. The large terrace on the first floor allows you to sit and eat in different places depending on the time of day to take advantage of the breathtaking views over the Mediterranean.

The swimming pool is unique, secluded in the rocks and just above sea level. (Please note that the pool is not fenced and young children will need watching because of the rocks and the sea). The stairs take you to the pontoon, for those who prefer to swim in the sea. There is also a shaded path that gives you direct access to the pretty public beach of La Fosette on which there is a lovely little restaurant / beach club. 

Accommodation

• On the ground floor: 3 beautiful bedrooms including a master suite all with ensuite bathrooms. A 4th smaller bedroom, with ensuite shower room is suitable for a young person. However access to one of the 3 guest bedrooms is only either via the small 4th bedroom OR via one of the other guest bedrooms - it does not have it's own independant access. So ideal for a family using this plus the 4th bedroom BUT not ideal if all adults. 
• On the 2nd floor: a large balcony opens on to the 2 master bedrooms, both of which are ensuite. Two other bedrooms – smaller but certainly just as comfortable, share an inviting shower room. Air-conditioning in all of the rooms.
• Reception rooms are found on the first floor: sitting room, dining room, office with a TV corner and the spacious, exceptionally well equipped kitchen. The kitchen is linked by back stairs to the laundry room.
