The 4000 square meter gardens of KaapKloof Manor have been arranged with an amazing passion for detail. Magnificent indigenous vegetation, flowering fynbos, various birdlife and impressive African art sculptures are there for you to explore right at your doorstep.
Unwind on the sheltered patio or on the lush lawn areas, in the heated saltwater swimming pool and its outside shower, or sneak into the hidden wine cellar to indulge in some of South Africa’s best wines. When the time for sundowners arises, the scenery transforms into a theatre of light, immersing the mountains and the bay into shades of orange, red and violet.

KaapKloof Manor lays nestled on the backdrops of the Twelve Apostles Mountains, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean on top of Hout Bay, one of Cape Town’s most exclusive and tranquil suburbs. Hout Bay, as a quaint family and fisherman’s village, is an ideal and central starting point to discover the tremendous diversity of the Cape Peninsula region. Shops, markets, exquisite restaurants, the most beautiful natural beaches and the lively harbor are only a few minutes down the road.
Unfold your picnic blanket on lush meadows at Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens (15 min.) or visit the fantastic wine estates on the Constantia Wine Route (10 min.). Drive towards the South, over the famous Chapmans Peak Drive (5 min.), passing Noordhoek with a breathtaking 8km long beach (20 min), Simons Town with their adorable penguin colony (30 min.) until you reach a point which feels like the end of the world: the Cape of Good Hope (90 min.).
