The village centre of Comunanza with shops and restaurants is 1 km from the villa. The nearest towns are 30 to 50 km away - Ascoli Piceno and its marvellous Piazza del Popolo – known as Il Salotto d'Italia, the living room of Italy. San Benedetto del Tronto is known for its wide beaches and marvellous palm trees. Fermo is known for its cathedral, from here you have a view of the entire valley of the Tenna River. Macerata is about 60 km to the north and is famous for its Opera Festival, which is organised every year. The Tombolo lace is also made here. The capital of the region is Ancona, a charming harbour town with a refreshing balance of history and modernity. South of Ancona, the Riviera Conero awaits with beautiful pebble and sandy beaches.
