Villa Contessa in Val d´Elsa

This villa is set on a hill in the heart of Tuscany, nestled in a magical landscape between Siena and Florence, and has been owned by an Italian noble family for centuries. Surrounded by spectacular gardens, it offers breathtaking views over the rolling countryside. The original building dates back to the year 1400 and was expanded between 1700 and 1800. The entire estate has been carefully renovated and restructured with great attention to detail.

The beautifully designed villa features 13 bedrooms, each elegantly decorated in different colors and patterns, and can accommodate up to 26 guests. Within the grounds there is also an annex with 3 additional bedrooms for up to 6 more guests. All rooms enjoy magnificent views of the gentle Tuscan hills. The interiors are a perfect blend of old-world opulence and modern luxury. Meticulously maintained, they include spacious living rooms—one with a large flat-screen TV—a game room, and three adjoining dining rooms.

The gardens, terraces, and leisure facilities have all been thoughtfully designed to ensure maximum privacy. In the garden next to the bar, there is a large swimming pool and a sun terrace with a pavilion. Just above the pool, a generous outdoor lounge invites you to relax with an aperitif or a refreshing drink. A canvas-covered pergola provides shade by both the pool and the whirlpool.

A 1.5-hectare garden surrounds the house, featuring fruit trees, flowering shrubs, roses, blooming vines, and cypress trees. From almost every viewpoint on the property, you can enjoy a classic Tuscan panorama of green hills, olive groves, and vineyards. Along the south-facing façade, a wide paved terrace with a barbecue is furnished with wrought-iron tables and chairs for up to 32 guests. For the enjoyment of all guests, a croquet lawn is also available.
