Situated between San Candido and Dobbiaco, overlooking the 3 Cime Ski Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Chateau Valcastello is an elegant 19th century manor house.

Valcastello extends over 3 floors with 4 spacious 70 sqm suites with living room, bedroom and en-suite bathroom and 1 double bedroom with en-suite bathroom - for a total of 10 people.

For sports and nature lovers, Valcastello is a paradise. Play polo and tennis in summer or snow polo and cross-country skiing in winter. Explore the iconic surroundings on horseback and then enjoy the hotel's gym and sauna.  Other activities can be arranged on request – fitness or yoga classes, horse riding or tennis lessons.

The Polo Club

Valcastello is the only place in Italy where snow polo can be played in winter. The snow arena is open all year round for everything from friendly chukkas to professional tournaments. Snow polo is also played during the winter months. Company tournaments of various types and levels can also be organised, from fun chukkas to more serious training chukkas for advanced players.

Downhill skiing
From Valcastello you can easily reach several ski resorts in the Dolomites. The nearest ski lifts are in San Candido (1.8 km), the nearest large ski area is 3 Cime Dolomiti (3 Peaks) with 115 km of slopes and 31 lifts (5 km/8 minutes by car) and Monte Cristallo in Cortina d'Ampezzo (30 minutes by car).
