In the South visit the Pula Arena, a well-preserved amphitheater from Roman times. The magnificent ancient building made of white limestone is still largely in its original condition today. In the hypogeum below the arena, where the animal cages and other machinery, which was needed for fighting, there is now a permanent exhibition about the history of oil and wine cultivation in the region from the Roman times.

The sunny months from June to September are particularly suitable for a summer holiday on the beach. Here the temperatures are between 25 and 30 °C. There are also only a few rainy days to be expected during the summer.
